erratic behaviour on three counts

Hi Brett, love your app. Various issues have emerged in these last 10 days:

• can't delete notes any more - dialog asks me to confirm, which I do, then simply hangs on either "abort" or "delete" and I need to force quit the app
• Shortcut key to bring nv to the fore doesn't work anymore. Need to keep reassigning the same shortcut then it works for a while (as user mjknght described Jan 3rd)
• Preview of first line in the left panel gets lost; after switching between horizontal and vertical view for several times the line comes back and is visible beneath the title of the note.
  Manually restarting the app seems to help for a few operations, then the app behaves again as expected but the behaviour described resumes. Any ideas or suggestions?
