Flow Inpsector is an application based on web technologies to visualize network flows (Netflow, IPFIX).
Python (tested with v2.7.1)
Jinja2 (tested with v2.6) pip install Jinja2
ujson (tested with 1.18) (optional but recommended) pip install ujson
MongoDB (minimum requirement with v2.2)
pymongo (tested with v2.0.1) pip install pymongo

- Redis (tested with v2.4.3) pip install redis
You can choose between multiple backends for storing flow data. Additional requirements come from your choice of flow data backend. flow-inspector currently supports three backends:
Depending on your backend you have the following additional requirements:
- MongoDB (minimum required: version 2.2)
- pymongo (minimum required: version 2.2) pip install pymongo
- MySQLdb (tested with v1.2.3) pip install mysql-python
- Copy /config.default.py to /config.py and edit settings
- Run /preprocess/preprocess.py to add flows to the database
- Run /app/app.py to start the web interface
