I'm not sure this is a bootstrap issue, but the movie plays without the modal.
See: http://jsfiddle.net/bassjobsen/xK24S/ this plays the move in chrome but not in Firefox. See the black screen:
firefox

Notes:
I'm using firefox for ubuntu 23.0.
There is also a javascript error: TypeError: Value not an object. s.ytimg.com/yts/jsbin/www-embed-player-vflwWlnaY.js (line 220).

Sorry, we can't help with third-party stuff; see http://twbs.github.io/bootstrap/javascript/#callout-third-party-libs
However, if you find a solution/workaround, we'd be happy to mention it in the docs.

Hi Both, I had experienced the similar issue on firefox and now it was fixed.

Let's have a look to the last paragraph this blog article:
http://www.joshuawinn.com/opening-youtube-links-dynamically-in-a-twitter-bootstrap-modal-window/

bassjobsen, although I am not sure if it is related to your case, you may try adding "&wmode=transparent" to query string and see what happens.

Good luck!
Tommy
