do .makeRow() & .makeColumn() get the size wrong? #7403

Could someone enlighten me. I'm still new to LESS and so I'm kinda confused about the behavior of mixins .makeRow() & .makeColumn().

When used, they only assign the column dimensions of (min-width: 768px) and (max-width: 979px).

If I change the mixins to this https://gist.github.com/marclarr/5259097 the dimension are accurate for my 1920 resolution, however at the very next break point things get funky again.

Right now those mixins are not responsive, meaning they won't scale and adapt like the rest of the grid system. Shitty, I know. However, you can find the new mixins in 3.0.0-wip branch that resolve this issue. You'll have to update the variables and what not to make them work, but it's doable until v3 debuts months from now.

I see, thank you.

Is there a task list if I would like to try and help improve Bootstrap? ... Never mind, I just found it.
