input[type="number"] not displaying properly in Chrome #8350

This seems to fix it:

input[type="number"]::-webkit-outer-spin-button,
input[type="number"]::-webkit-inner-spin-button {
  height:auto;
}

The problem exists when using font-sizes other than the default 14px.

Erm, do you mean how hovering over the decrement button shows an I-bar text cursor instead of a pointer cursor?

Use this css:)
input[type=number]::-webkit-inner-spin-button,
input[type=number]::-webkit-outer-spin-button {

opacity: 1;

}
