Same here. The library doesn't seem to be detecting anything that's not prefixed by http(s)://

They are considered Invalid Short Domains (twttr.txt.regexen.invalidShortDomain). Although, I'm not sure why they're thrown out? If you add a protocol (http://), they'll get detected.

I believe historically some short domains cause too many false positives, on average degrading users' experience.
With some good data backed arguments this could change going forward.

Would it be possible to have www.domain.me be recognized at least? Little chance a common subdomain and valid tld isn't a url, right?

Can it have an option for enabling short domain name linking? I want imo.im to be linked :)
