Summary: poetry-semver looks like it wasn't updated in a while. poetry is now using the vendor-ed version in poetry-code and its probably best to migrate to something that is more widely used and maintained.

How will it work?:

For now the two possible options are:

• Use semver or semver3 (See API Reference) and .match (See API Reference).
• Use packaging. See Specifiers - packaging and packaging/test_specifiers.py at main · pypa/packaging · GitHub.
