$ echo | txt2tags -i- -o-
txt2tags: Error: No target specified (try --help)

Maybe trying to convert an old v1.x file?
$

Improve this error message to be more informative and friendly.
The old 1.x series are dead. Try something like:

"You need to inform one target which the -t option or the %!target command.

Example: txt2tags -t html file.t2t"

(Thanks Leonardo Rosa)
