dotfiles

Requirements

I use the latest vim possible, compiled with ruby and python support. Here are some instructions

I also use Sorin Ionescu's much improved fork of oh-my-zsh that is not backwards compatible with upstream oh-my-zsh, but it does include everything the former does. Installation

Install

  1. git clone this repo somewhere other than your home directory.
  2. Run this script to link your dotfiles to the homedir:

    ./install.sh

Keep in mind that this install script won't overwrite dotfiles that already exist, so you may have to rename/move them.

  3. Install vundle and open up vim to install all the plugins.

    git clone https://github.com/gmarik/vundle.git ~/.vim/bundle/vundle
    vim
    :BundleInstall
