This is a forked repository. Have a look at
dziegler’s django-css wiki
for more information.

The two changes are:

Pythonic compilers are supported, so if you do not want to have clevercss.py binary on your PATH, only on your PYTHONPATH, you can state that in configuration:

settings.COMPILER_FORMATS = {
            '.css': {
                'python':'clevercss.convert',
            },            
        }

The format is module_name.function_name

Second is support for inline CSS compilation. So you can write fancy rules inside STYLE tags, just set type attribute accordingly.
