Larger personal dictionary for spellcheck

Description

First of all, thanks for delivering the spellchecking feature. It was one of my main issues with the web app.
Is there any reason for the 100 word limit? If it could be increased to at least 1k, it would suit my needs much better.

Use Case

I had to disable spellchecking right away, because of the 100 word limit in the personal dictionary. I use a lot of abbreviations for sensor measurements in my text (e.g., T30, P50). As they were all flagged by the spellchecker, I wanted to add them to the dictionary but hit the limit really quickly.

Same issue. I use typst for my exam notes in university, and there are a lot of abbreviations and names of famous mathematicians along with its' forms (actually, notes are in Russian) marked as errors. I have added a lot of words to my personal dictionary not knowing about its size limit, understood that added too many and now want to delete some words from the dictionary. Is there any possibility to check the dictionary and clean it up?

You can edit the dictionary from the sidebar settings panel in the editor.

I'm curious: is there a reason why the personal dictionary was limited to 100 words in the first place? A file-based, project-specific solution would probably be more scalable, not to mention version-controllable.

We kept it as simple as possible. Just project-based would also be frustrating I think. And the limit is also motivated by implementation reasons (the dictionary is currently part of the user settings which are transmitted often).

Then, it should be cached locally?
Current limit makes the spellcheck feature outright unusable for some..
(a limit of like 1-10k would make a lot more sense...)

The point isn't that it couldn't be improved. It's just that we are a very small team and there are always a ton of things to do, so some are always bound to not be worked on.

I have also reached this 100-entry limit very quickly. Technical documents with a lot of jargon and foreign words outside of the document language get erroneously flagged all over the place, with no means of correcting it. It's making the spell-checker unusable.

I appreciate, that german is now available for spellchecking. But in german it's particularly easy to hit the limit of 100 entries as the spellchecking doesn't know, that in german multiple words can be chained without any separators into a closed compound and therefore these have to be added to the personal dictionary.

Would it be possible to delegate the role of the personal dictionary to a separate file in a project?
I am hypothesising here as to how much work would actually have to be done to implement this, but maybe this is a relatively cheap approach: the spellchecker would only have to look within this file, which the user himself maintains, and simply not flag all the words there as incorrect.

I'm not yet a PRO subscriber, but on a pinch I could consider subscribing if at least a larger personal dictionary was part of the upgrade package, otherwise I find myself in need of extracting the project from the web editor and edit it offline to get a proper spellchecker
