Description

If you try to watch any video on the site with ublock origin enabled the player turns red and displays the message "AdBlock Detected !!!

We no longer can allow adblock users for free videos. Please unblock us on adblock or register as a premium user to help us running our website."
The only way i've found to fix the problem is to disable ublock origin.

    Looks like the issue is changing a bit now. Now when you load up a page with a video a notice pops up on the video player saying that they're going to introduce popunder ads in 96 hours. This notice can be closed after waiting 10 seconds then you can watch the video.

    Can confirm that, it happens even without uBO on:

    Image > The filter does not bring back the video player.

    Try without it, do you have any detection? It should have been fixed already.

    I'll try again when I get home, but with uBlock Origin enabled I get a blank page that has no video player on screen.

    Without uBlock Origin I get that 10 second message on the video player before streaming begins.

    With AdGuard it does not give me the 10 second message on the video player, and the stream launches immediately upon clicking play.

    Please share your troubleshooting information while reproducing the issue. I can only reproduce the countdown, but not the breakage.

    Ok it's because the filter is for wcoflix.tv, you are using wco.tv -- I will have to update the filter. It's why we ask for exact URL for every report, it saves time.

    WCO has updated its detectors yet again. Yesterday the suggested filters worked fine, with it giving the 10 second delay instead of blocking it completely.

    This morning wco.tv had changed, blocking ublock completely. By this evening wcostream.tv had followed suit. This is on the most recent version of firefox. Only other extensions are tampermonkey and a disable page visibility API extension.

    Disabling ublock origin returns wco.tv to the 10-second delay. It doesn't do anything on wcostream.tv, no clue what that one's detecting now. Both were on the 10-second delay yesterday.

    These are the entirety of my custom filters as of now:
    www.dailymail.co.uk##.noskim
    www.dailymail.co.uk##[data-is-inline-paywall-mounted="true"]:remove-attr(style)
    www.dailymail.co.uk##.is-paywalled-article:remove-class(is-paywalled-article)
    embed.wco.tv###close-btn:remove-attr(disabled)
    embed.wco.tv##+js(trusted-click-element, button#close-btn, , 500)

    @4beemaster

    @Fanfics I can confirm as of this moment, that having 0 filters and enabling just the uBlock annoyances bypasses the 10 second timer without triggering the adblock detection.

    Provide a URL where the issue can be reproduce, I am not familiar with any of these sites, I don't want to spend my morning chasing an actual case I can reproduce so that I can investigate -- I can't investigate what I can't reproduce.

  20. Fanfics commented on Jun 13, 2026

    @Fanfics

    Aaaaaand now wcostream.tv is giving the 10 second screen and wco.tv seems to be down entirely on both firefox and chrome. Nothing changed on my end.

    I don't know why the behavior seems to unstable, but for now I can access wcostream.tv with ublock origin turned on. I'll update again if I find something reproducable, and provide a more specific URL at that point.

    EDIT: behavior still unstable. wco.tv backup with a 10 second delay, wcostream.tv now detects and fully blocks.

    @Smolbreyn

    Probably a small issue, but is there a way to have the 10 second fast-forward/rewind buttons appear with the filters enabled? Because with uBO turned off, those player controls appear, but with the filters on, they do not appear. Everything else works fine, but not having these buttons can be a little annoying when watching on mobile.

    I tested this on wcoflix.tv, and with Firefox as the browser.
