You can also ssh to UT directly, what I would recommend you as OpenSSH-server is preinstalled.
Open Terminal, "sudo service ssh start" and try to login in from your local network using account phablet. By default RSA encryption is set up, which means, you will have to generate keys on your local computer and push them using ssh-copy-id to your phone
I would like to be able to access the / sdcard directory to see all the videos, images, and other files that I have stored, I was googling and I saw that some use sshfs to do it when they emulate Android
