A VNC server has been developed and tested on various devices -- @kugiigi has prepared a front-end for it as well. While it has been working fine on most devices, it crashes out on the Nexus 5 as soon as the user attempts to interact (i.e. viewing always works but any mouse or keyboard interaction crashes the session). Comparing the
udev
rules across devices, I found that this one was missing for thehammerhead
. Since adding it, I've been able to use the VNC server fully, without any crashes. @kugiigi has confirmed this on his Nexus 5 as well.
