Although not every translator may wish to record a URL in a USFM file, it would seem sensible to allow this to be done within the text of a remark line that starts with \rem.

Every URL contains a double solidus! e.g. https://github.com/

In ParaTExt, the double solidus // is a USFM marker for an optional line break.

Unless this has already been anticipated, there's a potential conflict here that might even be a software bug.

cf. It was certainly a bug in third party scripts that convert USFM to OSIS.

We definitely intend to include URLs in our \rem lines . I would enclose them in the new linking markup.
