@popey that error should be fixed with libdpkg-perl: http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?mode=exactfilename&suite=xenial§ion=all&arch=any&keywords=Arch.pm&searchon=contents not sure why it is not getting fixed. |

You need to add build-essential to the build-packages. It pulls in everything needed. I tested here with snapcraft cleanbuild. Without that package specified, there's no compiler to build otter. Simple as that :) |
