A feature known as "collapsed" or "compact" joins allows foreign key values to be displayed in a concatenated string format, incorporating values from the foreign table without showing a whole separate nesting level with individual columns:

collapsedjoin2

The "Show Explicit Join" toggle for this feature has turned out to be confusing. This usability problem will be fixed in a future Ultorg version. Most likely the feature will be disabled by default unless the user explicitly enables it as a formatting option.

This feature was overhauled in Ultorg 1.0.9, which is now released! The new Ultorg version is available at the old download link.

New problems and usability issues with the "compact join" feature can be reported by opening new issues.
