The current Revamp / Revamped themes release for default Confluence and other skin mods.

ℹ️ _Nothing in default skin is overwritten_.

ℹ️ Android users need rw access to system directory.

⚠️ _OSX users only_
_Do not_ extract the theme folders over the existing directories, OSX deletes existing contents instead of appending contents and you end up with broken skin.
Instead extract zip somewhere and copy files over individually to same directories of the skin, the command line can handle archives correctly, see _man zip_

Downloading & installing

  • Download source code.zip
  • Extract the _media / colors_ and _backgrounds_ folders in the system directory Kodi skin.confluence is installed into.

The system directory varies depending on OS for e.g.

  • Ubuntu / Kodibuntu directory.
/usr/share/kodi/addons/skin.confluence/
  • Windows directory.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi\addons\skin.confluence

Changing themes in skin

To use theme: In the skin settings:

  • Change the theme from Default to Revamp or Revamp-osf Revamped or Revamped-osf

    like example below on screenshot

If you done it properly you will end up with 3 xml files inside the colors folder, one named Default.xml and Revamp.xml and Revamp-osf.xml Revamped.xml and Revamped-osf.xml

In the _media_ folder you should have the default uncompressed textures and the XBT files Revamp.xbt and Revamped-osf.xbt Revamp.xbt and Revamped-osf.xbt.

In the _backgrounds_ folder you should have in addition to existing contents a Revamp.jpg, Revamp-osf.jpg Revamped.jpg and Revamped-osf.jpg

This release has two small variations aside from the blue tone.
  • Revamp.xbt / Revamped.xbt has a modified more transparent floor.png
  • Revamp-osf.xbt / Revamped-osf.xbt is same with exception to the default floor.png (some users prefer that)

_Note:_ You can ignore the extracted-textures directory, unless you wish to repack them yourself. It is part of this to provide non packed textures only.
