Description
Currently, the the web configurator handling when the remote goes into sleep mode is not optimal. As a user, you usually notice this when a page no longer loads or a command is not executed.
Yes, of course I can keep the remote in the dock during a longer configuration period, but I have often been in the situation that I need the remote for testing, because I can't operate it via the web configurator. Operating the remote in the dock is a very shaky affair ;)
As an improvement I thought of two things:
- The time until the remote goes into sleep mode should be displayed live in the configurator as a countdown. When the countdown is over, the configurator should show a splash screen, which prevents further operation until the remote is available again
- An "anti snooze" button that automatically appears in the web configurator when the remote is about to go into sleep mode. So the sleep mode can be postponed for a self defined time
