Please conform to time/date standards in ISO 8601 #14

The U.S. Digital Service, and its Playbook and Handbook, should advise conformance with, and themselves conform to, ISO 8601, the international standard for unambiguous datestamps, and the US versions thereof, ANSI INCITS 30-1997 (R2008) and NIST FIPS PUB 4-2.

I just downloaded "TechFAR Handbook 8 7 14.pdf".

At minimum, that should change to one of these:

  • "TechFAR Handbook 2014-08-07.pdf" (if as of August 7)
  • "TechFAR Handbook 2014-07-08.pdf" (if as of July 8).
