Not an Error exactly. More of a feature request.
Perhaps it is already possible, so if so I'd appreciate learning how this works.

Expected (Desired) behaviour

A user clicking on a link in a message (sms/twitter) would have that link's destination open in a new tab. (Preserving the Ushahidi window they just clicked in)

Actual (Existing) behaviour

On the platform (at least the deployments I've worked on) clicking on a link in a message (SMS / Twitter) doesn't open that link in a new browser tab, but uses the Ushahidi tab. This means the platform has to reload when they click back. Sometimes things to wrong in that tab on the new website and the user can't click back. (redirection) Sometimes the user closes the (other website) tab and loses their

Steps to reproduce the behaviour/error

Click on messages
Click on SMS or Twitter (assuming they are configured as data feeds)
Find an incoming message with an external link.
Click on the link.

(now the browser window is not showing Ushahidi, it is showing the new website).
