Absence of enthought.tvtk causes test failures #218

If the enthough.tvtk is missing, test failures result that provoke "distutils failed" from bitten. These tests should fail more nicely.

This problem should be taken care of with issue #246. THe tvtk test should only be run in mayavi viewing mode. Due to this I'm going to remove any milestone.

doctest: +TVTK now used to omit tests that require enthought.tvtk (r4987)
