The following examples were tested on the Windows machine in A316.

   examples/diffusion/circle.py
   examples/cahnHilliard/mesh2D.py

Both displays did not work interactively. Using a raw_input() fixed the issue. Backends tested were TkAgg, WXAgg and Qt4Agg. The investigating was motivated by this thread, http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.python.fipy/2046.
