A more flexible, consistent color system

This epic addresses the need to improve our color guidance by providing guidance and flexibility around color choices — to develop appropriate defaults, useful semantic variable settings, and a practical palette of supported color choices.

Issues relevant to this epic

• Develop a broad, fixed palette of supported colors
• Provide a more flexible palette of semantic project color settings
• Create color palette options for theming
• Make it easier to choose Section 508 conformant color palettes
• Develop methods to share these palettes through Sketch or other common design platforms

Closing this epic with the release of the 2.0.0 Beta. We still need to figure out the Sketch part of this epic, but I'd like it to be part of a different epic
