% Haxe Target-Specific Getting-Started Tutorials

A collection of brief target-specific getting-started tutorials for Haxe, in three flavors:

  • getting started with Haxe targetting ${target}

  • how to use ${other-language} in your Haxe program

    That is: You've created a project in Haxe, you're targetting ${other-language}, and you want to incorporate some existing ${other-language} libraries into your project.

    This is one of Haxe's specialties. See the "Using ${other-language} libs/modules in a Haxe project" tutorials.

  • how to use Haxe in an ${other-language} program

    That is: There's an existing ${other-language}-based project to which you'd like to add your own modules. The Haxe compiler can compile Haxe code to ${other-language}. You'd like to write your new modules in Haxe and incorporate them into this existing project.

    This is one of Haxe's specialties. See the "Haxe in a ${other-language} project" tutorials.

Note: Haxe is a very flexible general-purpose tool. You can use it for multiple use cases, to target numerous different languages (and some VMs), to be executed on multiple different end-user platforms. So, you may sometimes have more than one way to get to where you want to go.
