I'd ACK this, although I only know that it doesn't hurt in my environment. Maybe there's some poor sucker out there who can't use kvm domain types...

@sciurus Can you confirm that when using 'qemu' your machines were 5x slower too?

Note: for anyone with this issue, you can also set the type to 'kvm', it's just not the default.

Yes, this makes a large speed difference.
