There is this gate node 2173190343

http://osmlab.github.io/osm-deep-history/#/node/2173190343

There was a routing problem on the road found this gate, changed tags.
But now this behavior.

If set some closer then it takes the short route over the gate.

When playing with positions it must have something to do with the gate.

This gate is always open! But when ice on road then closed.

Currently, Mapzen's routing enginge does not support access:conditional. We apply a 5 min penalty to all gates and if a path exists where we can route without a gate, the routing engine will route along that path.

Hello,

This evening I was looking, where I could reach Mapzen for this. Till the mail pops up.
Thanks.

access=yes, then mapzen give a 5 minute penalty, but how can we tag a gate, that is always open till :conditional=no @ (ice), so that routing do not give this penalty.

I like to tag the actual situation, a open gate, this is not tagging for the render.
It is like with a fee, do you have to stop (pay) or can you drive through (automatic payment),

When a gate is closed and you can open, drive through, close again, this is worth a penalty.

It is not good for Openstreetmap in there website, when people search a route, see this way around routing. Thinking Openstreetmap is bad.

A solution is to delete the gate, but that is not right.

Edit for images:
I did not mention the way between the gates (on the other end of the road is also such a gate)

We will look into, but it may be a few weeks due to other priorities. Thanks!
