What I want to emerge from this project: World Wide Holonic Economic Ecosystem.

Like the World Wide Web for economic interactions. Should be usable from any browser or app or email or text message or command line. Plug in and participate in conversations for action, processes, transfers of resources, etc etc etc.

Does this make sense to anybody else?

Different views of WHEE:

  • All value flows in the world are published as Linked Open Data.
    • What would be different? What would that enable?
    • Is that even a good idea? What about the NSA et al? (They have it already...)
  • Selected value flows are published as LOD.
  • Value streams of Intents are published as LOD.
    • You can engage with them and start conversations for action.
    • You don't need any special software to do so.
  • Lots of "next-economy" software projects publish and consume Intents and Plans and actual value flows.
    • How is that different from any of those other views?
    • Can't you still engage with them from your plain old browser or command line?

Re protocol > platform: there's a whole toolset/ecosystem building around github that includes (for example) zenhub and slack, that are free for open source projects but are not free themselves.

They afford fluid interaction and conversational interfaces.

How can we make LOD work fluidly like that? We should be able to do that, even better.

How is this different from Ethereum?

(It could use Ethereum, but it could also just use the Web as is.)

In a sense, @elf-pavlik's dspace should always have been this(, too). We should maybe sketch it again for the implementation and ambassador discussions.
