Hi, I'm Vrat 👋

Senior Engineering Manager with a master's in web engineering. Most recently at Constructor (AI-powered search and product discovery for e-commerce), where I led multiple teams (10+ engineers, including an Engineering Manager) owning the demo infrastructure Sales used across global markets.

Previously at Apify (web scraping and automation platform) and data.ai (mobile app market intelligence), where I grew from individual contributor to engineering leadership.

🤖 What I'm building now

Hands-on products built by a team of AI agents I orchestrate: a lead agent plus specialist agents working through GitHub issues, worktrees and PRs, traced in Langfuse.

  • Oceanside Eats: a restaurant directory for my corner of Vancouver Island. Live.
  • Hosting Hand: an AI assistant for short-term rental operators and people thinking about becoming one. We run a family rental, so we're its first users. In development.
