Hi, as you probably already know they released Alfred 4, and the authentication issue is back

I am using this workflow for now until mini-player is back on track.

Not as good, but I can manage to do play/pause (my absolute bare minimum): http://www.packal.org/workflow/spotifious

Here is a link to an "Alfred 4 only" version: https://transfer.sh/TLlch/spotifyminiplayer-beta.alfredworkflow

Let me know if you still get issues

This has resolved the issue for me. Everything that I tried seems to be working.

Thanks, I can input now, but after I hit authenticate, it jumps to a Spotify webpage in Safari and shows "Illegal scope"

It seems in the beta version the notification for the tracks does not work anymore.

For the notification issue, the easiest way to fix it would be to reboot your Mac or to disable and then re-enable "Now Playing" in settings

Hi! Thanks for making this awesome workflow.
After I upgraded to Alfred 4, spotify mini asks me to re-verify my ID and secret numbers. But when I paste it in, nothing happened.
The link above is so broken. Is there a walkaround? Or should I wait to see if spotify will work properly?
Any feedback you can give me would be greatly appreciated

@wpix I don’t think the link is broken, can you check it is not an adblocker or something that is blocking access to the website instead?

@vdesabou Man, You workflow is great!, thanks for u work.
In this "Temporary fix", "Add current track to..." not working though "Add current track to Alfred Playlist or Your Music" is working... I think it would be important for the next update...

I'm also having the same issue and after doing several reboots and restarts of alfred 4, am still getting the same result where pasting in the client id does not result in anything happening. It's worth noting that I did this same process with my laptop for work and it worked flawlessly.
I made sure no ad blocker or firewall or anything else was running that might prevent this from working. I double checked, then remade a spotify application to see if that was the issue but got the same results.

I've made sure both my mac and alfred 4 are up to date.
My laptop having problems is MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) running Mojave 10.14.5.

Side note: this is an amazing workflow and I deeply appreciate the time/energy you've put into this and to answering the questions of folks like me.

Version 8.0 is out and should fix all the Alfred 4 issues. Note that it is also Alfred 3 backward compatible

@AleksIralda With 8.0, I don't reproduce the "Add current track to..." issue, please open a new ticket if you can reproduce with 8.0 release

My apologies for missing that link. Installing the workflow via that link did the trick. Thanks again for making such a fantastic workflow!
