It remembers your acceptance, and then you're never told again. A noninvasive banner of some kind would probably help.

marking this as a bug as it really feels buggy from the user POV if the app silently is broken all the time and they've forgotten why.

Either non-invasive banner or forget about acceptance after certain amount of time
