Running the attached testcase with:

verilator_bin --lint-only 2a.sv

On version:

Verilator 4.020 devel rev v4.020-52-g8ce60e9

Produces:

%Error: 2a.sv:1: Can't find definition of 'a' in dotted variable: 'c.a'
module v;always@c.a c:h;endmodule
                   ^
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
