Solder parts to PCB

Soldering elements on Veter-cap PCB

This is how the daughter board should like like after soldering all parts:

Soldering cables to connect the cameras

Camera has three pins - power, ground and signal. The mail connector should be soldered as shown on the pictures.
If you are building two-cameras version of the robot, than it should be done twice.

Soldering I2C cable to compass

I2C cable with the 4-pin female connector should be soledred to the compass. The female connector pins are: SCL (blue), SDA (white), power (red), ground (black). Please consult the compass documentation to find out the pin layout of the compass.

Soldering cables to LEDs

We have made place for two LEDs but currently only one will be used. Two two-pin female connectors should soldered to the wires.

Wires for power supply

At this step you will need to solder battery (or external power supply) connector to the main power switch as shown on the pictures.

Cable to connect servo motor

We need a 3-wire cable with male and female connector to extend the servo cable.

Soldering cables to sonars

All sonars we are using are connected to I2C bus. Corresponding cables with female connectors should be soldered. The female connector pins are: SCL (blue), SDA (white), power (red), ground (black). Please consult the sonars documentation to find out the pin layout of the sonars for correct soldering.
