Sometimes I want to toggle a group of elements in a diagram on and off. At the moment I can easily hide and unhide one element, e.g. a bar plot. If I want to hide more than one, I have either to hide each of them or I select the elements to be hidden and tick Hide.
The same goes if I want to change the colour of a group of line plots. I either change the colour on each plot separately or I select all elements and change the colour together.
I would love to insert a new element in the plot "Add group" and put my elements to be handled together in that group. The properties and formatting attributes would then have the options to override the properties and attributes of the child elements or to leave them untouched (I would call this "Auto").
Would such a feature be possible? Maybe it's already implemented and I have missed it...

Seems a good idea. The easiest way to implement it would be to have it as a shortcut for selecting all the items in the group. It's not obvious how to implement it.
