I. Adding the vab820 layer to your build
=================================================
In order to use this layer, you need to make the build system aware of
it.
Assuming the vab820 layer exists at the top-level of your
yocto build tree, you can add it to the build system by adding the
location of the vab820 layer to bblayers.conf, along with any
other layers needed. e.g.:
BBLAYERS ?= " \
/path/to/yocto/meta \
/path/to/yocto/meta-yocto \
/path/to/yocto/meta-yocto-bsp \
/path/to/yocto/meta-via-vab820-bsp \
"
II. Building the official BSP
=================================================
To easily build the official BSP (`via-image-x11`) without much
manual setup, need to utilize the platform image from here:
URI: https://github.com/viaembedded/via-vab820-bsp-platform
branch: dora
Build instructions, including pulling the appropriate repositories
is provided in the README there.
