  • When iedit is included as a submodule and the entire .emacs.d/ directory is byte-recompiled, it causes the iedit submodule to appear dirty when the only change that has occurred is the generation of an .elc file. This set of ignore rules should prevent dirty submodules from occurring unnecessarily.
