@solaceten

I would like to display the Menu label, but it seems to be tied to the .nav-toggle class and is therefore difficult to position next to the menu icon.

How can I add a class for the text ?

Thank you :-)

position text in menu

hi

Do you want to put the menu abreast by side with the icon? You give me your code, I see

Hi

Yes, I want to show the word "Menu" to the left of the icon (just to make it super obvious to users)

The code is as per the demo. But there is no separate class for the menu label text. I could hack the code, but it would be better if there is an actual .label css selector in the JS.

Thanks

hi
I also don't know if you want, you see

Attributes are side by side: display:inline;

Hi

I figured it out using the positioning for the background image.

However, it might be a good idea to give the Menu text its own css selector class.

.nav-toggle { background: #444 url("../../images/hamburger.gif") no-repeat scroll 0 90%; display: inline; float: right; height: 55px; margin: 0 auto; text-align: left; text-indent: 0; width: 90px; }
Thanks
