I have found a PC on which the demos boids and atom (and possibly others) break because an error occurs in glBufferSubData. These demos have in common that their data is updated. Other demos (e.g. galaxy, fireworks) work fine.
The PC is Window 7, ATI Radeon 4550, OpenGL 3.3.10243 Compatibility Profile Context.
Interestingly, the Windows7 performance score thingy mentions that the display has the worst overall score.
Fix issue #64: glBufferSubdata not working on ATI
This problem arises in specific ATI drivers; I just happen
to have found a PC that shows this error. The solution does
not disturb the normal flow, but tries a "fix" when glBufferSubdata
raises an exception.
