I would also love to get this project on an Apache web server. I've spent a few hours trying to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated!

I just founded, it's uses middleman to run, and middleman have a command to build.

Take a look to https://middlemanapp.com/basics/build_and_deploy/ maybe you have to configure some things, but it's work fine.

I did see that, but my build didn't work. Were you able to successfully deploy?

Open config.rb and add this line

activate :relative_assets

inside this block

configure :build do

end

Another fix is the path in source/javascripts/settings.js.erb, add this code

.gsub("../", "")

to each image_path() you can found.

I forget something, in your css/html you must use some functions, take a look to "Helpers" in

https://middlemanapp.com/advanced/asset_pipeline/

@dientuki Many, many thanks for the

activate :relative_assets

in config.rb tip! I was getting absolute paths in my bundle exec middleman build static site index.html and this was breaking the .js and .css when served from an S3 bucket.
