Someone correct me if I'm wrong, This module does not "use" a particular version of node but depends on the version present in the apt (or yum) repository of the system the module is being run on.
For example, I'm using this module on Ubuntu 12.10 and yes, that version of Ubuntu is woefully behind in it's version of nodejs (0.6).
If you want to use a newer version of node see the discussion in issue #48. The technique in that issue is how I'm getting a newer version of node.
It appears this module still uses node 0.6.
If you aren't going to keep this module up to date with node.js please note in the Readme that this is for an out of date version.
https://forge.puppetlabs.com/willdurand/nodejs provides an up to date version of node.
