Linus Torvalds created better software than Bill Gates. But Linus has less money than Bill Gates. That's injust.

I propose to create crypto token LINUS and give Linus and/or his organization 1 LINUS for producing Linux.

We probably should have the policy that to be rewarded an idea or software must be released open source and not patented (or the patent should be granted to the world). We should not disallow trademarks (unless they hinder use of the product).

Some persons and projects to be rewarded

We need (at least) three kinds of tokens:

  • for ideas
  • for implementations
  • proportional to the number of users/usages (only for open source products)
