I don't know much about soap specification but the server I'm requesting the information from needed the namespace in every field (WTF!) so, did that and works... I don't know if it's ok, but if it helps nice :)

@dtorres and @mfain, can you please grab the latest version of the package and let me know if you still have namespace problems? Namespaces should now be handled properly.

mfain commented May 8, 2012

Hi milewise,

it throws an exception after I've updated to soap@0.2.3:
soap@0.2.3 ../node_modules/soap
├── request@2.9.202
└── node-expat@1.5.0
I get the 'same' error as an unpatched node-soap:

drutt@ubuntu:~/src$ node sms-js.js
[Error: soapenv:Client: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected subelement
correlationId: [object Object]]
null

Cheers,
mfain

@mfain can you share the WSDL file for the service you are using?

mfain commented May 8, 2012

ehm,

I'm not sure I can provide the WSDL on a list. I could share it in a
private email, even though I've found customer's code out in the wild with
my companies WSDL in the code.

Cheers,
mfain

I understand. If you are comfortable doing so, you can send the partial WSDL or a modified version of it to vinay [at] milewise.com and i can try to debug it.

i had this issue also with this wsdl for adobe business catalyst. this patch fixed it. https://example.worldsecuresystems.com/CatalystWebService/CatalystCRMWebservice.asmx?WSDL

Closing due to it being unmergeable and missing tests. Please reopen after a rebase and tests are added. Thank you.
