There's currently no web-platform-tests. (Both Chrome and Firefox have some.)

I seem to recall there were issues with creating a WPT due to infrastructure limitations. I can't remember if it was due to the popup blocker or needing a user gesture or something.

https://web-platform-tests.org/writing-tests/testdriver.html should allow for synthetic user gestures. (But also, web-platform-tests expects popups to not be blocked by default. Even if they are created without user gesture, but that might get into #1540 about not using the same rules for popups as HTML.)
