Endless “Warping…” loop - can’t complete a single request

Describe the bug

Can’t get a single request to fully go through. Every time I try, it ends up stuck in an infinite “Warping…” state and never finishes. I’ve probably lost around 500-600 requests from the Usage by now because of this.

This is blocking all progress and wasting a lot of time and requests. Would really appreciate a fix or at least an update on what’s going on.

To reproduce

1. Create or open a project.
2. Type a prompt into the agent / input box.
3. Send it and wait - the UI stays in an infinite “Warping…” state (never finishes).

Expected behavior

Requests should complete normally without getting stuck in a loop.

Hey @jorotodorovv and @lysy-vlc - thanks for letting us know. Next time it happens, can you give us the pair of debug IDs (conversation and request ID) for the failed request? Will help us correlate with server-side observability data and see if there's something going wrong on the server.

And if the copied debug information doesn't include a request ID, lmk that too.

The same happens to us. The only option is to kill the warp.exe task. Usually we see 2 of these and once we kill them and launch Warp again, it is no longer task, however in most case the most recent request is lost.

Same issue happens to me.

Warp keeps looping whenever I do any prompt,
I keep getting "Warping" and i can cancel the prompt but if I do not, it will keep going infinitely.

I updated the client application (Windows)
Hosted on OS Windows server 2025 24H2 26100.1742

Tried new conversation
Tried different engine (Usually use Auto (cost efficient))

I managed to get a few prompts through but that was after I stopped the task - resuming that task just makes it loop "Warping" again.
