  1. under "Prerequisites" put links behind the two sources (albeit you might want to add wiki-commons ==> so there may rather be three)

Pre-filling the filter is definitely possible, but it may also be an over-simplification for the user. Let us not insult their intelligence, but rather show them the possibilities of all the other information they could contribute

Please do not create unrelated add-on requests, but rather create a separate issue. Otherwise it his hard to track and may get lost. It also makes the comment string confusing.

"over-simplification" in GUIs normally doesn't exist (as long as the full functionality still is accessible)

Just tried to put the feedback on contrution guide in one issue, but can do more granular

We can use labels to group Area-specific issues.
Regarding 3: Wikicommons is only necessary when contributing pictures and is not needed for the guide shown above.
