USB-Isolator

USB port isolator based on an Analog Devices ADuM3160 to protect computers against over-voltage spikes, ESD pulses and to avoid ground loops.

USB-Isolator

  • Analog Devices ADuM3160 USB Digital Isolator
  • USB 2.0 compatible
  • Full Speed (12 Mbps, default setting) and Low Speed (1.5 Mbps) switchable via soldering Jumper (typical low speed devices are keyboards, mice)
  • Built-in DC-DC converter (up to 400mA output current on Host side)
  • Upstream short-circuit protection
