[Bug]: Paste into terminal is including html code

Current Behavior

Up until just recently, any text I copied from any website to my clipboard, would correctly paste into a terminal window as plain text, but now when I copy some text from a website and paste it into a terminal window, it includes all the html code from the website:

This only started happening very recently (within the past few days that I noticed).

I can work around it by pasting the text into a text editor (the code doesn't appear when pasting), then copying from there and pasting into Wave, but this becomes very cumbersome when doing a lot of work in the terminal.

Expected Behavior

I expect any copied text to be pasted into a terminal window as plain text.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Open Wave Terminal on my Ubuntu laptop.
2. Copy any text from any webpage. (highlight text, right click, copy).
3. Paste into Wave Terminal (shift/control/V, or right click, copy).
