Welcome to The OS Waye Foundation! We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. By participating in our programs and using our services, you ("Participant," "you," or "your") agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use ("Terms"). The OS Waye Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing tools, programs, and research to support open-source developers and the broader community working on freedom technologies. Our services include, but are not limited to, workshops, online courses, self-service tools and frameworks, mentorship, research opportunities, and community events (collectively, the "Services"). Participation in our programs does not establish an employment or contractor relationship with The OS Waye Foundation. -
Eligibility
To participate in our programs, you must:

Provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep this information up-to-date.
Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. -
Participant Conduct
As a participant in our programs, you agree to:
Respectful Engagement: Interact respectfully with fellow participants, instructors, and staff. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
Intellectual Property: Respect the intellectual property rights of The OS Waye Foundation and other participants. Our frameworks, tools, and resources are open-source, and while modification and innovation are encouraged, proper attribution to The OS Waye Foundation is required. Any derivative works must follow the applicable open-source licensing terms.
Honesty and Integrity: Engage with integrity and honesty. Any form of misrepresentation or unethical behavior may result in removal from programs or restricted access to services. -
Use of Services
Our Services are designed to support open-source contributors and the broader community working on freedom technologies. You agree to:
Use our frameworks, tools, and research responsibly and in good faith.
Provide appropriate attribution when adapting or distributing materials from The OS Waye Foundation.
Engage with our Services in a way that respects the open-source community and its collaborative spirit.

All tools, frameworks, and research produced by The OS Waye Foundation are licensed under open-source licenses, making them freely available for use, modification, and distribution in alignment with open-source principles. Proper attribution to The OS Waye Foundation is required, and any derivative works must adhere to the original open-source license.
Contributors who submit content to The OS Waye Foundation (including blog posts, educational materials, or software contributions) agree to release their work under a relevant open-source license, allowing the community to use and build upon their contributions while maintaining proper attribution. -

Termination & Access Restrictions

The OS Waye Foundation also reserves the right to modify, pause, or discontinue any service, program, or initiative at its sole discretion. We are not liable for any loss resulting from such modifications.

Financial & Tax Disclosures
The OS Waye Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations made to the foundation may be tax-deductible in the United States. Donors should consult a tax professional for guidance.
The OS Waye Foundation does not provide exchange services, digital wallet services, or financial transactions on behalf of any party. -

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through our website. Your continued participation in our programs following such notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. -
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in The State of Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein. -
