The proper way to do this is host a custom packages.json file and specify downloads for Windows and OSX. If I merged this, both packages would be shown to users on all platforms.

Here is an example of creating a packages.json that specified a specific platform for a download: However, since you will be manually versioning the plugin, please specify a URL that is pegged to a specific commit or tag. This way all users who have version 1.0 will actually be running the same code. Here is an example of using tags:


Hi, I've merged the two versions. Now it's cross-platform.
