The original Firebase notifications support has been depreciated and will no longer function. OneSignal is now required for push notifications to function. PiFire Server Version 1.2.7+ and Android App version 1.4.1+ are required for OneSignal.

v1.4.1 and after removes support for Firebase notifications and replaces it with OneSignal. You can use this release on older versions of PiFire but push notifications will not work.
The original Firebase notifications support will be depreciated in the coming future and the server will be shutdown. When this happens all Firebase notifications will fail and OneSignal will be the only supported option for Push Notifications.
